Credit Mix

You mix (credit mix) is the type and ratio of credit cards you have. Credit cards generally fall into the following categories: Bank cards, store cards and gas cards. To improve and keep a solid credit score, you should have a good mix of cards. Many suggest 1-2 gas cards, a few store cards and then some good bank cards. The best exact mix is unknown but it is known that a lack of mix will hurt you. At the very least, you should shoot for one of each type of credit card.
