When a collection agency or company is not doing as your demand and they are in violation of the FCRA and/or FDCPA and/or other law, you can send them an ITS (Intent To Sue). Basically in this letter you spell out their violations, damages and state this is their last chance before you file a law suit. You typically want to exhaust all your options before sending an ITS out. Also you should not send one unless you are ready for legal action one way or the other.
